Who I Am
I’m Laura McVeigh - a literary travel and fiction writer, essayist, and former CEO of PEN International, where I worked at the crossroads of literature, human rights, and freedom of expression. I’ve worked internationally with writers, cultural organisations, and institutions, and I advise on storytelling as a tool for dialogue, education, and peacebuilding. A polyglot and lifelong traveller, my writing is published and translated internationally.
